Parish minutes, (1779-1880), include lists of tithes made by members including names and amounts paid, accounts with Overseers of the Poor; a request for an orthodox minister; parish expenditures; plans to establish a vestry with St. Matthews Church; appointments of church officials, including lists of offices and duties; and parish participation, 1785, in the General Assembly of the Protestant Episcopal Church. Also include metes and bounds of parish; establishment, 1856, of parish parsonage; plans, 1871, to erect new church building and the establishment of a Building Committee; establishment of a public cemetery; a copy, 1877, of a letter to the family of a deceased minister; notes, 1878, concerning a minister's resignation; and death records.
